As Detroit continues its upward arc of the past decade or so, there continue to be more and more charity events springing up within the city each year. Detroit has always had a spirit of giving and celebration, and as our downtown area is revitalized, we of course want to share that improvement and good energy with the rest of the world. Some of our favorite charity events are held at the Detroit Zoo (technically located in nearby Royal Oak) like the Run Wild and Check-in for Checkups events, at the Detroit Institute of Arts such as the Heart of Crossroads Awards Gala, at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History like the Dance Theatre of Harlem Gala, and at Belle Isle Riverfront Park such as the Tunnel to Towers Run. There are hundreds of events to choose from, all of which are very much worthy of your time and contributions, and we hope that when you attend these events, that you'll consider Pink Cruiser for your party bus and group transportation needs. Here are some reasons that you should:
When you're attending a charity event in Detroit with a group of friends or colleagues, your first concerns should be comfort and safety. Traveling in a party bus gives you both of those things, and if you're talking about a Pink Cruiser party bus, then you get comfort and safety in a very pretty package! Particularly for breast cancer benefits, you can see the appeal of arriving in a perfectly maintained pink party bus. Everyone who is attending with you will be picked up at their homes or places of business, and won't have to worry about finding their way to the venue. If you have a couple of glasses of champagne at the event or some other alcoholic beverages on board the bus (our buses feature built-in bars and coolers for your enjoyment!), you won't have to worry about driving home or finding a designated driver. Our professional chauffeurs will get you home safe and sound, and all you've got to concern yourself with is having a great time.
Depending on your level of involvement with the charity in question, you may have a long stretch of work ahead of you on the day of the event. It may be 100% fun and celebration. Or more likely it will be a mixture of the two. In either case, why not enjoy our comfortable and private buses where you can retreat at any point during the day for some refreshment (our buses feature built-in bars), entertainment (we have flatscreen televisions with DVD players and HD antennas), dancing (our high quality audio systems and hardwood floors are the perfect combo!), and conversation (our premium wraparound leather seating makes it easy to converse with your friends!). That's exactly what you need in the midst of so much work and generosity, a place to relax and regroup, and to take a breather whenever you need one. Our buses can do that for you.
If you are trying to raise money for your favorite charity, why not accept donations in exchange for a seat on the bus? Your friends' generosity will take care of the rental fees and all the extra cash can go straight to the charity of your choice. During the day of your event you can travel to all your favorite destinations within the metro area, which depending on your tastes could be bars and restaurants, hiking trails and sports venues, or various downtown attractions. The choice is all yours! (Please note that you may need a permit to hold this type of private charity benefit -- just call us for more info.)
We have transported our customers to many breast cancer benefits in the Detroit area over the years, and in fact those are some of our most popular events thanks to our festive pink buses! These are just a couple of the most popular events:
Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure
This Detroit breast cancer walk is perhaps the most famous breast cancer event in the world, and each year people come out to show their support for their loved ones who have been diagnosted with breast cancer. At the3day.org you can register for the upcoming event, request information, donate to a participant, or get spectator information too. We hope to provide your transportation to this incredible event.

We have taken our customers to these breast cancer walks located in the cities of Ann Arbor, Detroit, Flint, Howell, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Lapeer, Macomb, Monroe, Muskegon, Oakland, Owosso, Port Huron, Saginaw, St Joseph, and Traverse City. As fun as travel can be, when you handle it all yourself, it can be a hassle. By handing the reins over to our professional chauffeurs so to speak, you can take the hassle out of your Detroit charity event planning. It's so nice to just relax knowing that your travel needs will be taken care of. When you are ready to talk to us about booking a pink party bus, just give us a call at 248-630-5605!
